Life Transitions
Separation
Embracing change
Separation in relationships signifies a temporary or permanent break from a partner.
It's a pivotal step for individuals seeking relief, space, clarity or change within the relationship.
Embracing change through temporary separation allows for reflection, self-discovery, and the opportunity to re-evaluate the dynamics.
While challenging, it could lead to healthier connections or, in some cases, help individuals find happiness outside the relationship by embracing new opportunities and perspectives
We dont move from grief, we move towards it
How to get over the end of a relationship
Separation often comes as a big shock. The signs will be there that things are not working well, but we are usually so unaware or so caught up in our stuff.
The busyness of life or the shifting in the relationship that occurred over a period of time that we ignored.
We do the blame game of who did what, but unless the issues are addressed properly and in an honest way, there will come an inevitable split in the relationship that is difficult to repair.
We as humans have a huge capacity to live under tough emotional and physical conditions and survive.
However when we are in a relationship that does not seem to work for one or both of the parties then the pain of leaving is much less than the pain of staying.
Social media is not making things easier as we look at others that have separated and seem so happy, that our judgment can be very clouded and not necessarily correct.
The grass is not always greener on the other side even though we would like to believe that its true.
