Life {love} bites
When {stuff} happens .......
"Stuff we wish we knew before life bites" refers to valuable knowledge or lessons we wish we had learned earlier, especially before facing difficulties or challenges in life.
It's like realizing the importance of a map before getting lost.
Recognizing these lessons can help us navigate life's ups and downs more effectively, potentially preventing or minimizing negative experiences and promoting better mental and emotional well-being.
When life bites, we need a friend.
Life goes along fine and then when you least expect it, wham ! it bites you where it hurts! Life happens and some of us are better at coping with some stuff than others.
Although sometimes it seems that we should have known better. Often, if we paid more attention to the details, then we might have seen the signs leading up to the event or crisis.
It does happen that maybe we did not want to see the signs, or even admit to ourselves that there is a problem, until it is too late! Whatever the reason.
We should own our stories.
So the purpose of this reading is not to go on a deep psychological assessment of what you did wrong or how you have been wronged by someone else; or the blame game or the pity party or the victim / aggressor story.
That information is important historic facts, however, it is often our current behavior, our shared understanding / emotion and how we choose to respond that complicates or sets the tone of the story.
The information presented in PeaceBuilders is short and to the point. You can just scroll down and look at the cartoon pics or have a quick read and see what topic interests you. Then if you want to dive deeper, the world of Google, social media and the AI bots of today will be happy to oblige.
What we are trying to do is to reach out to you as a person, a fellow human and help you find initial information, tools or support you might need to move on with life, regardless, or in spite of the seemingly huge challenges you might be facing right now.
The purpose of PeaceBuilders is to help point you into a direction where you can learn a bit why stuff happened, get an idea of the consequences and then help plan a way forward, whatever that may look like. It is not a quick-fix solution, but a unique, intentional response, that takes time as well as a commitment to specific action or outcomes.
Then PeaceBuilders will help guide you to connect with a human friend or an in person support service in your area.
***We don't know it all and most of us are still learning as we go about life. Leaning a bit on each other for support and learning from each other's experiences is in my view the basis of our interdependence, our community and being human. ***
We all have opinions and thoughts about stuff and it can change over time as we get more informed or have a change of heart. Sometimes if we care to listen, others can present their opinion and it just makes sense … or not.
